Overriding a straight party vote

By lcauditor

Based upon my conversations with some very well educated voters, I think one of the least understood aspects of voting is the voter’s ability to override a straight party vote.  In other words, you can fill in the oval for a straight party vote and still vote for individual candidates not affiliated with your party.  To vote for a candidate outside your party, please ensure you mark the oval beside that candidate.
